Hello world!

One of the best Swerve’ songs, although this isn’t the whole version… seriously ingenious riffs nonetheless.

Attn: Seattle, I’m going to buy out your stock of these over Memorial Day Weekend.

This is a weird thing to post after a month of barely being on here at all on account of my broken computer, but I got legitimately stoked on cold brew coffee while doing some paperwork at the library.

Picked this up at Audiopile a while back.

Finally got a haircut.  It’s important that the internet is aware of this.

I feel like I’d be a more productive writer if I had Sean Connery yelling at me.

Attn Local Hardcore kids who only exist on the internet: Come out to this show.
The worst thing that can happen is that you’ll feel totally alienated and spend the night standing alone in the corner. But if you’re into Punk/Hardcore, that’s not a new feeling so that shouldn’t deter you!
At best, you’ll see some great bands, make some new friends, and remember why liking Hardcore is part of the persona you’ve made for yourself on Tumblr.
At the very very very least, you can tell people you went to show when they ask about your Friday instead of saying you took pictures of yourself and complained about being bored. And really, if the show isn’t good, you’ll at least have more than one or two shows as reference when you talk shit on our scene.
Also, regardless of the reputation this scene has for being elitist**, it is filled with some of the most genuine and kind hearted people you’ll ever meet. Come up and say hi, no one will think less of you for it.
**Read: socially awkward freaks who really care about what they love

WHAT DANNY SAID. Fuck, spot on. Come out and rage, make sure to say hi to JAMES.

Do it!

The Pogues - “If I Should Fall from Grace with God”

Red House Painters - “San Geronimo”

Personally, Ocean Beach is my favourite Mark Kozelek-related record.
